Tarzan K. Augustine a. k. a. Teezana hails from Guma Local Government Area of Benue State. Third in the family of seven, born on the 13th November 1988, to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Kumaiin Augustine Gir.

Teezana is an undergraduate student of Benue State University (BSU) in the Department of Mass Communication. He started his musical career in 1999 and he did his first hit single � Close To You� in 2005 at Charles Creation Studio in Makurdi which gave recognition and made him outstanding. In 2007, he did another single � WHAT�S ON YOUR MIND� which finally gave him a deal with Mcmanamans Entertainment.
